Sojun Park

Welcome

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University, affiliated with the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance. I study the political economy of intellectual property rights and international trade.

I hold a B.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Economics (Statistics) from Korea University. I am currently visiting the Mortara Center for International Studies at Georgetown University as a Global Political Economy Project (GPEP) pre-doctoral fellow. 

From Fall 2025, I will be a post-doctoral associate in the MIT Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working on AI politics. From Fall 2026, I will join the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore as an Assistant Professor of International Political Economy.

My work has been published in academic journals, including Review of International Organizations, and won the Best Graduate Student Paper Award at the International Studies Association in 2024.
